Each uses a different technology of light. Let’s start with laser treatments as they only have one specific wavelength emitted from the diode depending on what you’re targeting.
IPL is a non-laser machine that uses pulsed light technology with multiple wavelengths.

This will vary and purely depend firstly on your hair’s growth cycle. This is because we can only target a maximum of 20% of the hairs on your body in any of these goes three stages of its life cycle.
We usually recommend a min of 4 treatments. But, again this can be very due to your age, skin type, coarse hair, and finally, its colouring.
As these results can last a lifetime we ask our clients to have a session usually once a year to maintain results.

We can then check for any side effects and also ensure no unwanted side effects occur.
Treatments are a lot faster than waxing but they will depend on the area treated.

- Your First Step is to contact or visit our beauty salon to arrange a consultation with one of our specialists to assess your hair and skin type plus your required needs.
- There are a few precautions that you should take prior to arranging the appointment which is around shaving, waxing, and tanning.
- If you have recently had a shave please allow a few days for your hair to grow so that we can see the area or areas we will be treating.
- Just waxed? You will need to wait for around 4 – 6 for the hair to grow back.
- Do not suntan or sunbed for at least 2 weeks prior to your treatment. This can lead to lead to burning.
